News from the Musical Director

We have had a really enjoyable and musically successful season and are looking forward to another busy year starting with a local concert at St. Helen’s Church, Tarporley on Friday, 6^th November at 7.30 pm. This will take the theme of Memories and the passage of Time.

During our lovely summer concert in St john’s Church Ashton Hayes, we were able to say a fond farewell to Jim Watson, Tenor and founder member of Vale Royal Singers, retiring from the Choir after 48 years of dedicated attendance. Jim has been a wonderful support on the tenor line and a reliable and musical soloist for us too. See more about this on another page.

Do catch up with us at various pre-Christmas events – carol singing at Okells, and at the Morris Dancer in aid of the Hub,  After Christmas our very popular Epiphany concert at St. Philip’s Church, Kelsall on the afternoon of January 3^rd (date tbc) leads into a full diary of performance dates around Cheshire in the spring and summer.
